Lead, Financial Systems & Strategy (AI)

Location: Remote from Spain, the United Kingdom, or the United States

A hospitality technology product company provides revenue and profit management software for hotels, resorts, and casinos, with a growing investment in AI.

What you will do

• Own FP&A systems architecture and centralize data from NetSuite, Salesforce, and departmental sources.
• Govern the core data model and platform structure in Abacum across departmental and consolidated views.
• Architect and maintain integrated P&L, cash flow, reforecast, and budget models.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly board and sponsor reporting packages and consolidate variance analysis.
• Build scenario analyses, sensitivity models, cash flow forecasts, and covenant compliance monitoring.
• Deploy AI-augmented workflows, accelerate the close process, and provide data-based recommendations to R&D and G&A leaders.

Requirements

• 6–10 years of experience in FP&A or financial systems, preferably in a SaaS environment.
• Strong financial modelling, executive reporting, forecasting, scenario modelling, and covenant compliance experience.
• Deep knowledge of ERP and FP&A systems, including NetSuite or equivalent and Abacum, Adaptive Insights, OneStream, Pigment, or equivalent.
• Experience designing financial systems architecture, data infrastructure, and scalable reporting models.
• Ability to translate complex multi-department data into clear executive-level narratives and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Genuine experience or orientation toward AI-augmented finance workflows, LLMs, automation, and prompt-driven processes.

Nice to have

• Experience in a private equity-backed or high-growth B2B SaaS environment.
• Proficiency with Excel, Google Suite, NetSuite, and Salesforce in a finance context.
• Experience with Tableau, Looker, or equivalent data visualisation and BI tools.
• Experience supporting SOX compliance or audit-readiness processes.
• Hospitality technology industry experience.
