IOP Counselor (CADC, LCAS)

Location: On-site in Clyde, North Carolina, USA

Salary: $27.00–$31.00 per hour plus bonus structure

What you will do

• Conduct individual and group counseling using evidence-based approaches.
• Complete admissions and intake or readmission services using ASAM criteria.
• Provide supportive counseling, crisis support, treatment orientation, and follow-up for new patients.
• Coordinate with medical staff, the recovery care team, clinical supervisors, and case management services.
• Help patients address underlying mental and physical health conditions and progress toward recovery.
• Maintain accurate, complete, organized, and confidential patient records while following regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• LCAS or CADC licensure is required.
• Knowledge of substance use disorders, treatment planning, human behavior, and social services.
• Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal, judgment, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and handle confidential or sensitive situations.
• Ability to respond quickly and work effectively with patients and colleagues in challenging situations.
• Availability for Monday–Friday, 6:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m., with a rotating Saturday shift.
