Nurse Practitioner - Per Diem - Evernorth - Fort Myers FL

Location: Fort Myers, Florida, United States; workplace-based health center with onsite clinic duties.

What you will do

• Provide primary care and low-acuity urgent care in a workplace-based setting.
• Deliver extended episodic care for illnesses and injuries and support chronic condition education and co-management.
• Perform or oversee CLIA-waived testing, prescription dispensing, and specimen collection laboratory activities.
• Conduct biometric screenings, health and wellness education, and one-on-one health coaching.
• Recommend travel medicine services, administer immunizations or allergen immunotherapy when appropriately trained, and refer patients to wellness programs.
• Collaborate with HR, benefits, medical assistants, LPNs, and other health care team members to improve employee health.

Requirements

• Graduate of a certified Nurse Practitioner program with an active, unrestricted license in the relevant state.
• At least two years of independent Nurse Practitioner experience in internal medicine or family practice.
• Ability to practice independently, maintain DEA licensure and prescriptive authority, and obtain additional state licensure if required.
• Strong primary care and women's health experience, along with current BLS certification.
• Ability to work clinic hours with strong interpersonal, time management, attendance, and customer-service skills.

Nice to have

• Chronic disease management experience.
• EPIC electronic health record experience.
• Phlebotomy experience.
• Spanish or other additional language skills.
• Direct or indirect supervisory experience.
