Registered Nurse - PRN

Location: Onsite, in-person in Orlando, Florida. PRN schedule as needed, Monday–Friday, day shift; no nights or weekends.

What you will do

• Assess patient needs, conduct nursing evaluations, and provide treatment within the scope of practice.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare practitioners on further evaluation and care.
• Perform and document medical tests, screenings, and treatments, including EKGs, audiometry, spirometry, and vision testing.
• Administer medications and emergency care within the legal scope of practice.
• Maintain medical equipment, patient records, infection-control procedures, and a clean, safe care environment.
• Educate patients on health promotion and participate in follow-up care.

Requirements

• Certificate from an accredited nursing school or an Associate of Science degree in nursing is required; a BSN is preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse license in the state of practice is required.
• Current Basic Life Support certification with hands-on training from AHA, ARC, or an equivalent provider is required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification may be required depending on the site contract.
• At least three years of Registered Nurse experience in an emergency room, occupational health clinic, or ambulatory care clinic.

Nice to have

• Certification in Occupational Health Nursing, Emergency Nursing, or Case Management.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree.
• Primary care, urgent care, or emergency room experience.
