Nurse Practitioner (Primary Care)

Location: Thief River Falls, Minnesota, United States; onsite at a health center

Salary: $120,000–$155,000 annually

What you will do

• Provide primary care and light occupational health services to client employees and their dependents.
• Conduct physical examinations, preventive health assessments, and patient education.
• Perform injections, suturing, wound care, infection management, and other clinical procedures.
• Develop care plans, document patient progress, maintain accurate health records, and ensure continuity of care.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe or recommend treatments, and refer patients to specialists when needed.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams and coach nursing staff on best practices.

Requirements

• At least three years of Nurse Practitioner clinical experience in ambulatory care, occupational health, family practice, or emergency department settings.
• Current RN and Nurse Practitioner licenses or certificates to practice, plus state prescriptive authority where applicable.
• Federal DEA license matching each applicable state of practice.
• Current national certification from ANCC or AANP.
• Master’s degree in Nursing; transcripts may be required if the degree certificate does not specify Nursing.
• Current Basic Life Support certification with hands-on training from AHA, ARC, or an equivalent provider; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may be required based on the service contract.
