Machine Operator Drill/Inspecta 1st Shift (PCB Manufacturing)

Location: San Jose, California, United States; onsite, 1st shift

Salary: $41,818–$66,100 per year, with a potential 90-day performance-based pay increase. An annual or quarterly bonus and shift premium may apply depending on assignment.

What you will do

• Operate CNC drilling, panel optimization, and X-ray registration equipment for PCB production.
• Set up drill cassettes, replace dull bits, and perform inspections of new, sharpened, and used drill bits.
• Download machine programs and enter jobs into the manufacturing control system.
• Perform quality checks, preventive maintenance, minor repairs, and documentation.
• Read shop orders, verify prior operations, counts, and quality, and maintain a safe, orderly workplace.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of CNC drilling experience in the printed circuit board industry or a related field.
• Previous manufacturing experience is required.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English as necessary for the role.
• Ability to stand throughout the shift and lift up to 30 pounds without straining.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints; a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Access to ITAR-controlled products and related technical data is restricted to US citizens and US permanent residents.

Nice to have

• Experience with Excellon drilling equipment and Pluritech X-ray registration systems.
• Knowledge of Hitachi and Schmoll laser equipment.
