Director - PKDM - Small Molecule Portfolio Strategy & Leadership (Biotech)

Salary: $209,656.75–$283,653.25 annual base salary

What you will do

• Provide strategic PKDM-BA leadership for small molecule discovery and development programs.
• Guide cross-functional teams through scientific innovation, risk assessment, problem solving, and portfolio decision-making.
• Lead PKDM-BA contributions to INDs, NDAs, and interactions with global health authorities.
• Define strategies for candidate selection, optimization, development, and registration of small molecule therapeutics.
• Evaluate emerging technologies that improve understanding of drug disposition and development outcomes.
• Partner with business development teams on external opportunity assessment and scientific due diligence.

Requirements

• PhD, PharmD, or MD with relevant postdoctoral training and 5 years of industry experience; or a master’s degree with 8 years; or a bachelor’s degree with 10 years in a relevant discipline.
• Scientific and strategic leadership experience across multiple small molecule discovery and development programs.
• Extensive experience supporting regulatory submissions, including INDs and NDAs.
• Expertise in drug disposition, pharmacokinetics, and translational strategies.
• Experience influencing portfolio decisions in a matrixed environment and managing scientific teams.
• Strong communication, collaboration, leadership, and scientific external engagement skills.
