Salary: $274,000–$377,000 base compensation annually

What you will do

• Advise and act as a delegate for the Head of Immunology Early Development Innovation and Strategy.
• Lead research-to-development transitions, early development planning, and portfolio decisions across selected immunology programs.
• Serve as a delegated clinical development leader for selected programs and strategic initiatives.
• Evaluate external opportunities, including licensing, partnerships, venture investments, and strategic collaborations.
• Develop evidence-based recommendations for governance and investment decisions.
• Align cross-functional stakeholders across Research, Development, Commercial, Corporate Strategy, Business Development, and external partners.

Requirements

• MD, MD/PhD, PhD, PharmD, or equivalent doctoral degree in a relevant biomedical discipline.
• At least 15 years of pharmaceutical or biotechnology drug development experience with progressive leadership responsibilities.
• Expertise in immunology and immune-mediated diseases, including fields such as rheumatology, dermatology, gastroenterology, allergy, or inflammation.
• Experience with multiple therapeutic modalities and key development milestones.
• Experience bridging discovery and translational science with clinical development and leading early development strategies.
• Strong strategic thinking, judgment, communication, executive presence, and ability to lead in a complex matrixed environment.

Nice to have

• Scientific or development leadership demonstrated through publications, presentations, patents, advisory roles, or equivalent accomplishments.
• Experience leading teams through pre-IND or CTA meetings and clinical hold resolution.
