Project Manager (Chemical Manufacturing)

hirify.global operates in the chemical manufacturing industry and is hiring for its Capital Projects team.

What you will do

• Lead capital and expense projects from concept and Front-End Loading through design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and startup.
• Define project scope, develop cost estimates and schedules, prepare project justifications, and support stage-gate approvals.
• Coordinate engineering, operations, maintenance, construction, and contractor teams.
• Manage safety, quality, scope, schedule, cost, risks, changes, and project forecasts.
• Provide technical support, troubleshoot plant and field issues, and resolve design and constructability challenges.
• Communicate project status, risks, and updates to stakeholders and site leadership while managing multiple projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or chemical environment, including at least 2 years of project management experience.
• Experience supporting projects from Front-End Loading through construction and startup.
• Strong technical problem-solving, project execution, communication, coordination, and cost-control skills.
• Ability to work in a changing plant environment and use a stage-gate project execution framework.
• Unrestricted right to work for hirify.global in the United States is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Microsoft Office and project scheduling tools such as Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• PMP certification.
