Senior UX Designer

Location: Upstream Building AR Bentonville Home Office, Bentonville, United States

Annual salary: $90,000–$180,000, plus potential performance bonuses and stock compensation.

What you will do

• Develop and refine customer-facing interaction designs and user journeys using data analysis and emerging user behavior trends.
• Align UX solutions with business objectives and communicate design rationale to stakeholders.
• Create prototypes and detailed design specifications based on user-centered principles and native platform guidelines.
• Partner with research teams on usability testing, analyze feedback, and iterate designs.
• Integrate UX insights into product development and optimize customer journey touchpoints.

Requirements

• Expertise in UX design, user journeys, interaction design, and end-to-end experience design.
• Strong proficiency in Figma, prototyping, and user-centered design principles.
• Experience using qualitative and quantitative customer insights to inform design decisions.
• Experience with usability testing, rapid iteration, stakeholder collaboration, and consensus-building.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field plus 3 years of relevant experience, or 5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate design rationale across cross-functional teams.

Nice to have

• Design certification or a master’s degree in a related design field.
• Experience leading product development in a UX area.
• Retail, supply chain, eCommerce, healthcare, or related industry experience.
• Knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA, assistive technologies, and digital accessibility best practices.
