Software Engineer (Python/C++) Intern

Location: Chaska, with the internship description specifying Austin, TX; U.S. work authorization required

Salary: $21.69–$29.01 per hour

What you will do

• Analyze, design, program, debug, and modify software enhancements and new products.
• Write code and complete programming tasks using current languages and technologies.
• Test and debug applications across local, networked, cloud-based, and internet-related environments.
• Produce installation and maintenance documentation and procedures.
• Collaborate with users to define system requirements and identify necessary modifications.
• Apply Lean principles and continuous-improvement thinking to a meaningful summer project.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or a related field.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Experience coding in at least one programming language, such as Python, C++, or MATLAB.
• Strong communication, collaboration, presentation, problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Ability to learn quickly and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• SQL experience.
