Software Engineer 0/1 (C++)

Location: Ft. Meade, Maryland, United States; on-site

Salary: $34.06–$107.37 per hour, plus eligibility for a $5,000 bonus.

What you will do

• Develop, maintain, and enhance complex and diverse software systems.
• Build processing-intensive analytics, novel algorithms, real-time systems, and systems handling extremely large data sets.
• Review and test software components against documented design requirements.
• Resolve software problem reports and document test results.
• Contribute to requirements analysis, software architecture, hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, and COTS/GOTS evaluations.

Requirements

• United States citizenship and an appropriate security clearance are required.
• TS/SCI clearance with an agency-appropriate polygraph is required.
• Level 0: no professional experience required; a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline is required, or four additional years of software engineering experience may substitute.
• Level 1: seven years of software engineering experience on programs or contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity, plus a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline; four additional years of experience may substitute for the degree.
• Preferred development technologies include C++, JavaScript, and Python.
