AI Solutions Engineer

Location: US-Remote

Salary: $136K–$179K for Remote Standard; $143K–$189K for Remote Premium; $158K–$209K for New York City, plus equity and bonus opportunities.

What you will do

• Work with domain experts across departments to identify workflows, bottlenecks, and opportunities for AI automation.
• Design and ship MVPs, custom scripts, API integrations, and managed AI agents.
• Design, build, evaluate, and operate reliable AI workflows with guardrails, observability, and feedback loops.
• Define success metrics, track adoption and ROI, and prioritize initiatives by feasibility, risk, and business value.
• Support teams using AI features in existing SaaS platforms and mentor colleagues through documentation, training, and demonstrations.
• Optimize model performance, prompt and token usage, API latency, and operational costs while promoting privacy, security, and ethical AI use.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Go or JavaScript, ideally both, along with version control and testing practices.
• Hands-on experience building applications with Large Language Models or managing complex AI-tool workflows, including agent design, skills, context, and memory.
• Experience working with APIs and MCPs for platforms such as Jira, GitHub, or Salesforce.
• Ability to translate machine learning and engineering concepts into clear language for non-technical stakeholders.
• Business analysis, prioritization, autonomous cross-functional collaboration, and strong emotional intelligence.
