Senior Project Manager (Freelance)

Location: Hybrid work in Kansas City, Missouri or Seattle, Washington, United States; office attendance averages four days per week.

Salary: $65–$80 USD per hour

What you will do

• Lead campaign launches, digital development projects, and content initiatives with creative, development, content, SEO, and marketing teams.
• Own project scope, roadmaps, budgets, resource allocation, timelines, deliverables, and sprint planning.
• Manage technically focused CX and CRM programs, including email, SMS, and direct mail campaigns.
• Identify roadblocks, optimize workflows, and maintain quality throughout website development and content creation.
• Coordinate stakeholder communication, project meetings, presentations, status reporting, and client expectations.
• Manage content calendars, SEO-optimized publication workflows, style guides, governance processes, and junior team mentorship.

Requirements

• 4–7+ years of project management experience in an advertising agency, including complex website development, content workflows, and migrations.
• Expertise in Agile and Waterfall methodologies, project management platforms such as Asana, Trello, or Monday.com, and CMS platforms.
• Strong understanding of CX and CRM development lifecycles, web design, content strategy, information architecture, SEO, and the web development lifecycle.
• Experience launching omnichannel campaigns, managing clients, presenting project updates, and maintaining client relationships.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to start immediately; long-term freelance engagement with possible temp-to-perm conversion.
