Data Engineer, Senior

Location: Remote role associated with Arlington, Virginia, USA; occasional work at a Booz Allen or customer facility may be required.

Salary: $77,600–$176,000 annualized USD

What you will do

• Design, construct, maintain, and optimize scalable, high-performance data pipelines and infrastructure.
• Provide technical oversight and architectural guidance for data ingestion and processing pipelines.
• Ensure solutions comply with organizational standards and data governance frameworks.
• Act as a technical liaison between engineering teams, delivery managers, and stakeholders.
• Supervise and develop first-level supervisors and managers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with data ingestion and pipelines plus a bachelor’s degree, or 10+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Experience with Python and Databricks environments.
• Experience with Advana or War Data Platform.
• Knowledge of data catalogs, metadata tools, data lineage, and data discoverability.
• Ability to evaluate, validate, and communicate technical solutions without hands-on coding.
• Secret clearance is required, and eligibility for access to classified information is required.
