Water Engineer Internship - Summer 2027 (Water Resources)

Location: Hybrid in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania or Columbus, Ohio

What you will do

• Support hydrologic, hydraulic, water quality, and geospatial evaluations.
• Assist with watershed and water quality assessments, watershed planning, and BMP prioritization.
• Support design work for water resources and site development projects.
• Help plan, design, construct, and maintain stormwater infrastructure, BMPs, low-impact development projects, and green infrastructure.
• Perform field work including environmental sampling, parameter collection, BMP inspections, retrofit assessments, and stream evaluations.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field.
• Enrolled in core engineering classes and seeking employment supporting project work.
• Detail-oriented approach with strong technical skills.
• Strong attention to quality control.
