Licensed Alcohol & Drug Counselor (LADC)

Location: Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, USA; fully on-site

Salary: $27.00–$36.00 per hour plus bonus structure

What you will do

• Conduct individual alcohol and drug counseling sessions, group sessions, intake services, and follow-up counseling.
• Assess patients’ social, educational, economic, and vocational needs and develop or revise treatment plans.
• Provide crisis intervention, supportive counseling, referrals, and care coordination with community providers.
• Maintain comprehensive patient records and complete inter-agency and regulatory documentation.
• Orient patients to program procedures, support recovery goals, and assist with program implementation and caseload management.
• Participate in staff training, conferences, meetings, and required federal, state, local, and accrediting activities.

Requirements

• Active LADC, ADC, or ADC-T license in Minnesota required.
• Knowledge of substance use disorders, treatment planning, human behavior, and social services.
• Ability to make sound decisions involving confidential and sensitive patient matters.
• Ability to respond effectively in stressful situations and seek supervisory guidance when necessary.
• Ability to comply with federal and state requirements for certification, licensure, and education.
• Behavioral health experience is preferred but not required.
