Licensed Alcohol & Drug Counselor (LADC)

Location: Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, USA; fully on-site. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5:30 AM–2:00 PM.

Salary: $27.00–$36.00 per hour plus bonus structure.

What you will do

• Conduct individual alcohol and drug abuse counseling sessions, group sessions, intake, and readmission services.
• Assess patients’ social, educational, economic, and vocational needs.
• Develop and revise treatment plans while maintaining comprehensive patient records.
• Provide crisis intervention, supportive follow-up counseling, referrals, and care coordination with community providers.
• Orient patients to treatment procedures and support their transition to a drug-free life.
• Participate in OBOT services, staff training, program implementation, and regulatory activities.

Requirements

• Active LADC, ADC, or ADC-T license in the state of Minnesota is required.
• Knowledge of substance abuse treatment, treatment planning, human behavior, and social services.
• Ability to make sound decisions while handling confidential and sensitive issues.
• Ability to respond quickly and effectively in stressful situations and seek supervisory guidance when needed.
• Ability to comply with federal, state, local, and accrediting agency requirements.
• Behavioral health experience is preferred but not required.
