Location: Mountain View, California, or San Diego, California

Salary: Base pay range of $197,000–$266,000 in Mountain View or $196,000–$265,000 in San Diego, plus potential bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Drive the Mid-Market go-to-market business operating rhythm from design through execution and management.
• Lead planning processes and define goals supporting business and revenue outcomes.
• Identify operational gaps and build scalable processes, tools, and capabilities.
• Solve high-priority business problems through structured analysis, data, and executive-ready recommendations.
• Lead strategic initiatives end to end while tracking milestones, risks, dependencies, and outcomes.
• Build reporting mechanisms and translate complex findings into clear narratives for leadership.

Requirements

• 8–12+ years of experience in business strategy, business operations, strategic planning, management consulting, corporate development, or a related field.
• Experience advising senior executives and supporting complex, high-stakes business decisions.
• Ability to synthesize large volumes of complex information into actionable insights and recommendations.
• Experience designing or improving executive operating rhythms, planning processes, or performance management systems.
• Strong business judgment and executive-level written and verbal communication skills.
• Curiosity about small businesses and how QuickBooks can support them.
