Business Analyst (Oracle APEX)

Location: Hybrid/telework and office-based support in Vienna, Virginia, as required by the customer and project needs.

Salary: $88,000–$132,000 per year

What you will do

• Act as the primary liaison between application users, business stakeholders, project leadership, and developers.
• Coordinate and communicate resolutions for feedback, service requests, defects, enhancements, emergency events, and user questions.
• Support user access administration, including request review, role assignment, account activation, and user communications.
• Gather, analyze, document, and validate business requirements through interviews, workshops, surveys, use cases, and workflow scenarios.
• Develop, configure, enhance, test, and support Oracle APEX applications in an APEX 24.x or later environment.
• Maintain application documentation and support Agile planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, releases, and dependency meetings.

Requirements

• Experience with Oracle APEX, SQL, PL/SQL, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, workflow technologies, and application support tools.
• Working knowledge of Agile methods, frameworks, practices, and tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, documentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in systems engineering, information technology, computer science, a related discipline, or equivalent education and experience.
• U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Secret clearance are required.
• Hold or obtain CompTIA Security+ CE or another DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II-compliant certification within six months of starting.
