Senior Manager, People Technology

Location: New York City, based in the New York office with a hybrid work arrangement

Salary: $178,500–$250,000 USD

What you will do

• Own the People Technology strategy and 1- to 2-year roadmap, aligning priorities and investments with People and company objectives.
• Lead and develop the People Technology function, including team capabilities, operating standards, resource planning, vendors, and external resources.
• Own the architecture and optimization of the People Technology ecosystem, including Workday HCM, Greenhouse, learning platforms, integrations, and reporting.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives from discovery and requirements through solution design, implementation, testing, release, and adoption.
• Manage Workday semiannual releases, system configuration, data integrity, internal controls, audit readiness, and deployment quality.
• Evaluate AI and emerging People Technology capabilities to improve employee experience, self-service, and operational effectiveness.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience leading People Technology, HRIS, or enterprise HR Systems functions in complex organizations.
• Strong people leadership experience, including building inclusive teams and developing future leaders.
• Deep knowledge of Workday HCM configuration, business processes, security, reporting, and integrations.
• Experience with systems architecture, integrations, data governance, technology controls, and complex cross-functional programs.
• Experience managing vendors, contracts, external resources, and competing strategic and operational priorities.
• Experience working in a SOX or similarly controlled environment and supporting internal and external audits.

Nice to have

• Experience with applicant tracking, payroll, benefits, learning, and reporting platforms.
• Practical understanding of how AI and automation can improve People processes and employee experiences.
