Supplier Quality Engineer I (Manufacturing)

Location: Warrendale, Pennsylvania, United States; based at an hirify.global manufacturing facility. Office environment with up to 20% travel, including international travel.

Base compensation: $60,000–$70,000 per year.

What you will do

• Collect, analyze, and trend supplier performance data from ERP and PLM systems.
• Create metric reports and presentations for internal reviews, supplier QBRs, and management reviews.
• Support SCAR activities and develop practical knowledge of CAPA effectiveness for supplier product and process issues.
• Work with suppliers to meet hirify.global quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Support supplier strategies, component qualifications, and new product introduction activities.
• Coordinate supplier corrective actions and quality improvements with global supply chain, engineering, manufacturing, and QA teams.

Requirements

• 0–3 years of supplier quality engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technical science.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Experience with general computer applications such as Excel, Access, Visio, and Tableau.
• Ability to work onsite at the Warrendale, Pennsylvania manufacturing facility and travel up to 20%.
