Instructor of Digital Acquisition – Technical

Location: On-site at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, United States; travel to CONUS and OCONUS locations may be required.

What you will do

• Develop and administer Professional Continuing Education on Air Force and Department of Defense digital acquisition.
• Design, maintain, and deliver course content in collaboration with sponsors, subject matter experts, and instructional systems designers.
• Ensure curricula meet leadership approval and applicable Air Force Institute of Technology standards.
• Document lectures, presentations, assignments, and course processes to support continuity and knowledge transfer.
• Teach through on-site classrooms and distance-learning platforms, coordinate course offerings, and conduct post-course assessments.
• Support graduate-level research through literature reviews, data collection, technical writing, and instruction.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance are mandatory.
• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM-related field.
• Ten years of experience in engineering or a related technical discipline, including at least three years of applied systems engineering experience.
• Experience in digital engineering, digital modeling, or a related digital acquisition area.
• Experience with digital modeling languages and tools, including Model-Based Systems Engineering.
• Knowledge of Department of the Air Force, Department of Defense, or U.S. Air Force engineering policies, guides, and directives.
