Medium Gas Turbine RDS/CTS Engineer

Location: Orlando, Florida, United States; approximately 5% domestic travel required

What you will do

• Develop service-engineered solutions for medium gas turbine service activities and outages.
• Provide 24/7 operational help desk support to North American medium gas turbine customers.
• Monitor the regional turbine fleet by analyzing operating data through STARMS.
• Create Salesforce notifications and quarterly customer reports based on fleet monitoring.
• Perform remote online checks using the previous three months of operating data.
• Collaborate with customers, Application Engineering, Program Management, Field Service, and global technical support teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a foreign equivalent is preferred.
• 5+ years of experience with gas turbine operation in power generation and mechanical drive applications.
• Experience with medium gas turbines, rotating machinery, control methods, and auxiliary components.
• Proficiency in Siemens PCS7 and Siemens T3000 control systems.
• Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, digital literacy, and written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work from the Orlando, Florida location and travel domestically approximately 5%.

Nice to have

• Experience with Siemens Finspang medium gas turbine units.
• Experience with auxiliaries and medium gas turbine package design.
