Field Engineer (AI)

Location: Boston, MA, United States; hybrid

Compensation: OTE of $150,000–$210,000 annually; actual salary depends on experience, skills, and location.

What you will do

• Partner with Account Executives to understand customer requirements and develop customized technical solutions.
• Deliver product demonstrations and Proofs of Value that showcase the platform's benefits.
• Respond to customer security questionnaires and support the technical pre-sales process.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to address customer issues and improve the product experience.
• Track trends in AI-powered development tools and contribute to internal tools, playbooks, guides, and best practices.
• Support the transition from pre-sales to post-sales for smooth customer onboarding.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role.
• Hands-on experience helping customers succeed with software development tools and platforms.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Comfort working with the command line and strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong ownership, self-motivation, eagerness to learn, and ability to manage multiple customer needs.
• Willingness to mentor peers through training and shadowing.

Nice to have

• Experience with container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
• Experience with infrastructure as code, such as Terraform.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions.
