Customer-Facing Software Engineer (AI)

Location: Bay Area, hybrid

Salary: $150,000–$250,000 per year, depending on experience, skills, work location, and team position.

What you will do

• Own 5–15 active model-lab relationships as the day-to-day technical point of contact.
• Integrate customer models, run evaluations, and deliver high-quality results in partnership with researchers and product teams.
• Drive onboarding, data and product releases, co-launches, and rapid resolution of unexpected issues.
• Own a process improvement or automation, such as model onboarding, customer data insights, or delivery tooling.
• Translate customer feedback and research direction into product ideas and engineering work.
• Build pragmatic full-stack solutions that improve the platform and support strategic accounts.

Requirements

• 4+ years of software engineering experience with strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and system design.
• Production experience with TypeScript and modern web frameworks.
• Hands-on experience integrating LLM provider APIs, including streaming responses.
• Comfort working across frontend and backend systems.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and CI/CD workflows.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, customer collaboration, and stakeholder-management skills.
