Marketing Leader (Insurance)

Location: Ephrata, Washington, USA; regular attendance is expected, with remote work possible as business needs require. Travel is required for conferences, broker meetings, partner meetings, and industry events.

Annual salary: $100,000–$125,000.

What you will do

• Develop initiatives to grow member market share and support strategic plans.
• Expand broker engagement, manage prospect pipelines, and track outreach and growth metrics.
• Build relationships with brokers, members, partners, state associations, and internal stakeholders.
• Support onboarding, retention, education, marketing campaigns, presentations, and communication tools.
• Promote program services and maintain consistent brand messaging across programs.
• Monitor market trends and competitors, prepare reports, and recommend growth opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in marketing, business, communications, insurance, public administration, or a related field.
• At least three years of experience in business development, marketing, account management, insurance, member services, broker relations, or a similar relationship-based role.
• Experience building relationships and developing outreach, engagement, retention, or growth strategies.
• Strong verbal and written communication, presentation, analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM, database, or activity-tracking systems.
• Regular and reliable attendance is required; the role is based in Ephrata, Washington, with remote work permitted as business needs require.

Nice to have

• Degree in Marketing or Business Administration.
• Insurance or risk management experience in nonprofit or public-entity markets.
• Knowledge of underwriting processes and broker distribution channels.
• Experience with market research, competitive analysis, webinars, training, or educational programs.
