Software Engineer, Fullstack - Developer Insights (AI)

Location: San Francisco, CA; New York, NY; Los Angeles, CA; or Seattle, WA, United States

Salary: $130,600–$192,000 USD annual base salary, localized according to work location; equity opportunities are also available.

What you will do

• Build new features for Developer Insights and the internal developer portal using Backstage.
• Introduce modern technologies, including tools built on large language models.
• Improve the developer experience for engineers across hirify.global.
• Collaborate across team boundaries and contribute features and bug fixes to upstream open-source projects.
• Mentor peers, lead technical efforts, and support roadmap planning and feature measurement.
• Represent the team in OKR and engineering all-hands presentations.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience with web technologies.
• TypeScript and React experience on the frontend.
• Backend experience with Java, Kotlin, Python, or Go.
• Product mindset applied to platform services, with strong systems and software proficiency.
• Ability to investigate system architectures and communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• Proficiency with AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor throughout the software development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, monitoring, and release.
