Full Stack Developer (TS/SCI)

Location: Reston, Virginia, United States; hybrid schedule with three days onsite and two days remote, and up to five onsite days as needed

Salary: $116,000–$154,000–$169,400 annually in the Washington, DC metropolitan area; ranges may vary by location.

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and maintain secure, scalable full-stack web applications.
• Build backend services and APIs with Java and Python.
• Develop responsive front-end applications with Angular and TypeScript.
• Deliver cloud-native solutions using AWS EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda.
• Troubleshoot application, infrastructure, and deployment issues across development, test, and production environments.
• Collaborate with software engineers, DevOps engineers, system administrators, and mission stakeholders on architecture, code reviews, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance with a current CI polygraph is required.
• At least five years of professional software development experience.
• Strong experience with Java and/or Python, Angular, TypeScript, relational databases, and AWS services.
• Proficiency with Git workflows, collaborative development, troubleshooting, and problem-solving.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• UI/UX collaboration and user-centered interface design experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with distributed or microservices architectures.
• Familiarity with Helm charts, Ansible, and Agile/Scrum environments.
