Full Stack Developer (Ruby/AWS)

Location: Chantilly, Virginia, United States; onsite

Salary: $94,400–$198,200 per year

What you will do

• Design, develop, and test applications using modern engineering standards.
• Collaborate on system design and application architecture.
• Translate user requirements into technical requirements.
• Share operations and maintenance responsibilities with teammates.
• Investigate innovative approaches to improve application development.
• Provide on-call support for mission systems as needed.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required.
• Five or more years of experience in software engineering, application development, or web application development and deployment.
• Five or more years of experience with object-oriented programming, including Python or Ruby.
• Five or more years of full-stack development experience with JavaScript, Vue, Node, Angular, HTML, and CSS.
• Strong Linux foundation and experience with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
• Experience with Git-based source control, software design patterns, AWS infrastructure, Agile/Scrum, and RESTful web services.

Nice to have

• Experience with Rails, Ruby, Rake, Cucumber, RSpec, Bootstrap, Material UI, or Tailwind.
• Experience with AWS CLI, AWS CDK, AWS SDK, Apache Solr, Jenkins CI/CD, and software configuration management.
• Knowledge of SQL, DML, and DDL.
