Product Owner Intern (Product Management)

Location: Bedford, Massachusetts, United States; hybrid schedule with 4 days in the office and 1 remote day per week

Hourly internship pay: $28.00–$32.00 per hour

What you will do

• Gather customer needs and translate them into functional and technical requirements.
• Build and maintain a prioritized software product backlog and write user stories with acceptance criteria.
• Participate in SAFe Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, standups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with developers, UX designers, QA, and product managers to clarify requirements and validate features.
• Assist with feature testing, troubleshooting, release planning, documentation, and stakeholder presentations.
• Analyze product usage data, performance metrics, customer feedback, and market trends to identify improvements.

Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, software engineering, information systems, or a related technical or business field.
• Strong interest in software development processes, Agile methodologies, and product lifecycle management.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts through clear requirements, with strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Basic understanding of software architecture, APIs, or cloud services.
• Familiarity with Jira, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Projects and experience through coursework, coding projects, hackathons, or internships.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not provided.

• Exposure to UX/UI concepts, wireframing, or prototyping tools.
