Product Management Intern (Sports Software)

Location: Lincoln, Nebraska, United States; must be able to live in Lincoln during summer 2027. Housing and travel to Lincoln are covered. Remote work may be available with provided equipment.

Salary: $27–$29 USD per hour, based on academic standing.

hirify.global develops sports software that helps coaches and athletes capture video, analyze data, share highlights, and improve performance across sports and competition levels.

What you will do

• Identify meaningful user problems and write user stories while advocating for appropriate product tradeoffs.
• Interview coaches, athletes, and parents to validate ideas and translate feedback into clear requirements.
• Track product delivery and quantify whether shipped improvements achieve their intended impact.
• Partner with Sales, Support, and Marketing to prepare product rollouts.
• Write documentation, set sprint goals, and escalate blockers clearly.

Requirements

• Current student pursuing a degree in any field.
• Some exposure to product management through a class, project, club, or job.
• Strong problem-solving and measurement-oriented thinking.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Collaborative working style and comfort with ambiguity.
• Ability to live in Lincoln, Nebraska, during summer 2027.

Nice to have

• Experience building a software project, business, community, or product prototype.
• Prior product management or product-adjacent experience.
• Awareness of competing products and market alternatives.
• Experience influencing teams or decisions without formal authority.

Hiring process
