Sr. Quality Engineer (SaaS)

Location: Remote - US

Base salary: $115,000–$140,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Expand test case coverage for web, mobile, API, and system integrations.
• Perform manual acceptance testing in an Agile environment and investigate and report defects.
• Develop reusable, deterministic automation scripts for web, mobile, and API testing.
• Maintain the test automation library and create test plans supporting software releases.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and DevOps to promote quality throughout the software life cycle.
• Develop testing strategies that increase internally detected defects and prevent critical production issues.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of Quality Assurance experience in an Agile engineering environment.
• 5–7 years of experience testing web and mobile applications in a SaaS organization.
• Strong programming or scripting skills for developing test automation scenarios.
• Deep understanding of UI test automation best practices and scalable automation patterns.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, REST APIs, iOS, Android, Postman, relational databases, and SQL queries.
• Understanding of functional and non-functional testing, Agile testing practices, release strategies, and CI/CD integration.
