HR Specialist (Manufacturing)

Location: 181 Random Dr, New London, North Carolina, United States; onsite manufacturing environment

Base salary: $40,000–$60,500 USD per year, plus participation in an annual bonus or role-based sales incentive plan

What you will do

• Partner with EHS and Operations to promote safety, accountability, inclusion, and psychological safety in a manufacturing workforce.
• Resolve associate concerns and support employee relations investigations, policy violation reviews, complaints, and workplace conflicts.
• Serve as the main timekeeper for Fiberon and coordinate with Payroll to support accurate weekly payroll processing.
• Improve HR processes, create SOPs and workflow documentation, and support onboarding, employee records, status changes, and offboarding.
• Maintain accurate HRIS, payroll, timekeeping, and talent management data while conducting audits and preparing workforce reports.
• Support FMLA, ADA, and other leave-of-absence cases, as well as company functions and community relations activities.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of Human Resources experience.
• Strong administrative, reporting, data management, organizational, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Experience handling sensitive and confidential information.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Workday, and UKG Workforce Management.
• Experience supporting manufacturing, distribution, or another operational environment.
• Ability to work onsite in New London, North Carolina, United States.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• PHR, SHRM-CP, or related HR certification.
• Experience analyzing HR metrics, championing safety culture, and leading continuous improvement initiatives.
