Employee Benefits Associate Analyst (Insurance)

Location: Houston, Texas, United States

Salary: $65,000 per year, with eligibility for up to a 5% bonus upon completion of the 12-month program.

What you will do

• Complete a 12-month employee benefits career development program with more than 950 hours of structured training and practical work experience.
• Analyze financial data to support client deliverables, reporting, market reviews, funding projections, and claims utilization analyses.
• Review insurance renewals, new business proposals, contracts, and funding arrangements to evaluate plan performance and cost drivers.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and support negotiations involving premium rates and benefit plan features.
• Prepare clear, client-ready summaries of analytical findings and participate in internal strategy meetings.
• Manage multiple projects, maintain accuracy and deadlines, and stay current on employee benefits trends, legislation, and developments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree earned within the past two years.
• Comfort working with financial data in Excel, including building tables and analyzing information.
• Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to learn, take initiative, and work effectively with others.
• Ability to work in Houston, Texas, United States.
