Expense Management Intern (Finance)

Location: Cedar Rapids, Iowa, United States; onsite

Salary: $21 per hour

What you will do

• Analyze large datasets from multiple systems and explain financial implications.
• Extract, transform, and load data using tools such as Excel, Tableau, and Alteryx.
• Perform financial analysis and evaluate monthly forecast updates.
• Assist with monthly and quarterly expense reporting for management.
• Support the monthly close process for amortization and capitalization entries.
• Collaborate across the Expense Management team and participate in intern networking events.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a college or university through the end of the summer 2027 internship, pursuing business analytics, accounting, finance, or another analytical discipline.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without immigration sponsorship or employer-of-record immigration support.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of SQL.
• Knowledge of Alteryx and Tableau.
