Actuarial Intern - Summer 2027 (Commercial Auto Insurance)

What you will do

• Perform data validation and quality checks.
• Support actuarial pricing analyses and portfolio reviews.
• Support reserve monitoring and related reporting.
• Build knowledge of insurance operations, statutory requirements, and actuarial concepts.
• Collaborate with underwriting and finance teams as needed.

Requirements

• Actively pursue a bachelor's degree in mathematics, data science, statistics, or actuarial science.
• Be able to work 40 hours per week for 12 weeks.
• Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Be able to analyze large datasets, identify trends, multitask, and meet deadlines.
• Have intermediate or better Excel skills.
• Progress toward actuarial exams, preferably with at least two exams completed.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
