IT Associate Analyst, Network LAN/WAN (Hybrid)

Location: Westwood, Massachusetts, United States. Hybrid schedule requires at least three days in the office, including Tuesdays and Wednesdays; employees must be able to work up to five days in the office when required. Travel between Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New Hampshire is required, including work at remote offices and electrical substations.

What you will do

• Assist senior network staff with the design, planning, configuration, installation, and operation of LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and data center infrastructure.
• Implement and maintain routers, switches, wireless equipment, network monitoring platforms, and related communication systems.
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and support stable connectivity for business and operational applications.
• Update network architecture documentation and contribute to integration, capacity planning, performance tuning, and enterprise architecture plans.
• Provide second-level technical support and consultation across network, server, and client communication environments.
• Support vendors, technical RFPs, infrastructure improvement projects, and emergency restoration assignments.

Requirements

• Entry-level understanding of networking principles, protocols, network management, and troubleshooting tools.
• Knowledge of Cisco products and networking platforms; experience with Cisco equipment is beneficial.
• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Zero to three years of related experience and entry-level troubleshooting skills.
• Driver’s license and availability to travel between Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New Hampshire.
