Production Inspector (2:00pm to 10:30pm) Viper Internal

Location: Onsite manufacturing role with a fixed 2:00pm–10:30pm shift and medium–heavy physical demands.

Salary: $20–$23 per hour.

What you will do

• Inspect component parts, switches, orders, and completed products before they move to the next operation or ship.
• Verify conformance with production controls, ISO standards, drawings, schematics, bills of materials, and wiring or ladder diagrams.
• Prepare production and quality reports, inspection forms, and Non-Conformance Reports.
• Identify repetitive problems and write Customer Improvement Initiatives.
• Report ISO violations and stop non-conforming processes after notifying the Supervisor.
• Help create and implement process control charts for critical processes and train production personnel in inspection methods.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of work experience and skill development.
• Basic computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to use calipers, micrometers, and a Fluke multimeter.
• Ability to work continuously standing and walking, with frequent bending, squatting, kneeling, lifting, and hand or power-tool use.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds occasionally with assistance and up to 40 pounds frequently.

Nice to have

• 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, bills of materials, wiring diagrams, and ladder diagrams.
• Experience using an ERP system.
