Quality Control Inspector I (Medtech)

Location: Chester, Virginia, United States; onsite. Monday–Friday, 9:30 AM–6:00 PM.

Salary: $18.50–$26.75 per hour, depending on location, education, experience, skills, and abilities.

What you will do

• Inspect incoming materials, in-process items, and finished products against established quality standards.
• Perform visual and measurement tests, document results, and maintain accurate inspection records.
• Identify defects, deviations, and non-conformities, then collaborate with production or distribution teams on corrective actions and product disposition.
• Assess damaged inbound finished goods, repackage products, and support relabeling, rework, pedigree verification, recall checks, and inventory stock checks.
• Assist with quality control procedures and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Follow SOPs, quality systems, OSHA guidelines, and company rules; operate powered material-handling equipment when required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• No prior work experience required.
• Basic math, computer, document-reading, and measurement skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work for prolonged periods in hot or cold environments, PPE, and physically demanding positions.
• Ability to apply basic knowledge of GMP, GDP, ISO, or 21 CFR 820 and 210–211 requirements.
