Project Area Superintendent (Commercial Construction)

What you will do

• Sequence work with subcontractors and vendors and coordinate installation activities across a designated project area.
• Monitor and enforce OSHA and company safety policies, support safety meetings, and assist with Zero Accident and excavation procedures.
• Support quality control standards, site logistics planning, and project-specific conflict matrix development.
• Review subcontractor contracts, scopes of work, project specifications, and construction documents.
• Manage, train, and plan daily activities for hourly field labor, including time tracking in CMiC and Workday.
• Complete material take-offs and understand basic project financial information, including cost projections and labor reports.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of field coordination or relevant commercial construction project experience.
• Relevant college degree, or experience as a Field Foreman or Field Engineer with safety awareness, supervisory experience, and the ability to maintain daily reports.
• Thorough understanding of project documents, construction processes, and subcontractor scopes of work.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with project teams, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, move around uneven job-site surfaces, climb ladders and stairs, and move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.

Nice to have

• Experience with Synchro, Procore, Bluebeam, Egnyte, CMiC, Revit, or comparable construction technologies.
• Interest in integrated project delivery, process improvement, and construction technology innovation.
