Commercial Construction Assistant Project Manager (Mission Critical)

Location: Berwick, Pennsylvania, United States; work on commercial construction job sites and collaborate with site operations.

Salary: $77,000–$110,000 per year, with compensation varying by city and state.

What you will do

• Coordinate and distribute project information, documentation, and authorizations to support on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Assist with project budgets, pre-construction RFP packages, milestones, meetings, and monthly owner reports.
• Manage project processes including RFIs, submittals, pay applications, and subcontractor change orders.
• Update schedules, support quality control, and establish project logistics.
• Assist with project closeout and collaborate with the project superintendent and site operations team.
• Maintain adherence to safety standards and protect the interests of the business and client.

Requirements

• High school diploma required; a four-year degree in construction, engineering, or business is strongly preferred.
• Two to five years of experience in commercial construction, including experience with a commercial general contractor.
• Previous commercial job-site experience is strongly preferred.
• Ability to use or learn Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, ProCore, Adobe, BlueBeam, and JD Edwards.
• Strong communication, organization, prioritization, data interpretation, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to demonstrate integrity, adaptability, continuous improvement, and a commitment to construction quality and safety.
