Clinical Strategy Analyst

What you will do

• Analyze client clinical data to identify utilization trends, cost drivers, prevalence, risk, and population health outcomes.
• Prepare data analyses, reporting metrics, and clinical strategy deliverables for existing and prospective clients.
• Collaborate with clinical strategy consultants, health management consultants, client managers, internal departments, and vendor partners.
• Maintain, improve, and design reporting that demonstrates clinical capabilities, product recommendations, outcomes, and member engagement strategies.
• Research healthcare, wellness, productivity, risk, and care management trends and share relevant insights.
• Support clinical inquiries, workgroups, RFP/RFI activities, and at least one annual process improvement project.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing or a clinical-related field.
• Five years of experience in a clinical or managed care setting.
• Three years of experience analyzing clinical outcome data and three years of project management experience.
• Experience designing outcome reporting and proficiency with reporting tools.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, Cognos, Analytics Navigator, and similar databases.
• Critical thinking, problem-solving, decision-making, communication, business acumen, and conflict and crisis management skills.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in business or a clinical-related field.
• Registered Nurse (RN) certification.
• Experience applying technology in a business or clinical environment.
