Sr Project Manager, Mission Critical / Data Centers - Henderson Building Solutions

Location: San Antonio, Austin, Dallas, or Houston, Texas, United States. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

What you will do

• Direct complex construction and building systems projects from assessment and design through bidding, construction, and installation.
• Set project objectives, schedules, construction methods, logistics, and execution plans.
• Manage project budgets, forecasts, profitability, cost estimates, change orders, materials, and financial reporting.
• Coordinate clients, contractors, facility personnel, engineering partners, vendors, and internal teams while minimizing operational disruptions.
• Prepare layouts, drawings, schematics, bid packages, permits, project documentation, and compliance materials.
• Support business development, client relationships, industry events, and network growth.

Requirements

• 10 or more years of relevant experience in construction and building systems design; relevant experience may substitute for a bachelor's degree.
• Experience in project management, estimating, field installation, and installation supervision.
• Required OSHA certifications and advanced project management skills.
• Technical expertise in mechanical and/or electrical systems, with knowledge of applicable facility codes and standards.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Project.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English and legal authorization to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• Mission-critical, data center, high-availability, or live occupied facility experience.
• Design-build delivery and complex MEP infrastructure project experience.
• Knowledge of electrical distribution, UPS, standby generators, cooling systems, and other data center infrastructure.
• PE license, PMP certification, and experience managing subcontractors, vendors, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Business development and client relationship management experience.
