People Generalist - US (Cybersecurity)

Location: Hybrid role based in Tampa, United States, with regular overlap with UK working hours required

What you will do

• Act as the primary People contact for US employees and manage day-to-day People Operations through the PEO, including payroll, benefits, onboarding, offboarding, and compliance.
• Maintain US policies, the employee handbook, HRIS data, reporting, and workforce insights.
• Coordinate onboarding compliance, including Form I-9, employment eligibility verification, new-hire documentation, and reporting.
• Manage offboarding, federal and state leave programs, workplace accommodations, workers’ compensation claims, and multi-state employment compliance.
• Partner with US leaders on employee relations, performance, conduct, compensation, learning, and development initiatives.
• Support performance reviews, pulse surveys, salary-band development, pay-transparency requirements, and the employee experience in the Tampa office.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a broad People Generalist or People Partner role, including coaching senior leaders.
• Strong knowledge of multi-state US employment practices and experience managing employee relations matters.
• Hands-on experience with payroll, benefits, onboarding, offboarding, and 401(k) administration.
• Experience working as a standalone or first-in-country People hire and building scalable processes from scratch.
• Strong communication, influencing, judgement, discretion, and ability to operate independently in ambiguous situations.
• Ability to work in a hybrid role based in Tampa and maintain regular overlap with UK working hours.

• SHRM-CP or PHR certification.
