Associate Solutions Architect (Data Centers)

Location: DFW01_02, United States; approximately 10–20% travel required

What you will do

• Mark up site plans, building and whitespace layouts, one-line diagrams, and related drawings for customer-specific configurations, capacity phasing, and scope demarcation.
• Create customer-facing and internal technical presentations, contract exhibits, specification comparisons, and written responses.
• Maintain version-controlled technical files, summaries, reports, and opportunity records.
• Support Solutions Architects throughout qualification, technical review, proposal development, negotiation, and handoff to execution teams.
• Track technical questions, action items, and commitments, escalating risks to customer deadlines.
• Attend deal reviews, customer calls, and site tours while developing knowledge of data center design, commercial implications, and customer decision-making.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, civil, industrial engineering, or a related technical discipline is strongly preferred.
• Two to five years of experience in data centers or an adjacent field such as MEP or A/E design, construction management, mission-critical facilities, power development, commercial real estate, or technology infrastructure.
• Experience reading construction drawings, technical specifications, submittals, plans, and one-line diagrams.
• Foundational understanding of electrical and mechanical building systems and critical infrastructure terminology.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and drawing markup tools such as Bluebeam, Adobe Acrobat, or AutoCAD viewers.
• Willingness to travel approximately 10–20% for customer meetings, site tours, and internal alignment.
