TL;DR
Lead Architect (AI): Designing and optimizing complex enterprise architectures, business solutions, and technology roadmaps for a healthcare payer with an accent on artificial intelligence, API management, integration architecture, and security architecture. Focus on reducing technical debt, rationalizing applications, resolving complex architecture problems, and translating strategic objectives into implementable designs.

What you will do
- Define enterprise technology strategies, architectural roadmaps, and business innovation portfolios.
- Design complex enterprise systems, solutions, networks, infrastructure, and integration architectures.
- Develop AI solution strategies and align architecture decisions with business and technology objectives.
- Lead architecture reviews, technical walkthroughs, impact analyses, and resolution of complex business and technology problems.
- Drive process improvement initiatives, application rationalization, technical debt reduction, and measurable business outcomes.
- Provide strategic consultation, presentations, mentoring, coaching, and technical guidance to architects, developers, management, and business users.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a closely related field.
- At least 7 years of experience in an IT discipline and 7 years in a business discipline.
- Health insurance industry business knowledge.
- Experience with enterprise architecture, complex system design, integration, and requirements analysis.
- Technical experience may include AI, API management, integration architecture, security architecture, Java, PEGA, databases, data warehousing, SQL, and enterprise systems.
- Ability to communicate with all organizational levels and lead highly complex initiatives.
Nice to have
- Master’s degree.
- Industry certifications such as TOGAF, Java Developer, Enterprise Architect, Project Management, or certifications related to AI, API, integration, or security architecture.
- Experience with Agile or Waterfall project management methods.
