Senior Manufacturing Engineer (New Product Introduction)

What you will do

• Lead New Product Introduction activities for assembly from virtual build through start of production.
• Create work instruction documentation and ensure new designs are introduced without negatively affecting product flow.
• Plan and coordinate new product and review gate projects from concept through implementation.
• Work with cross-functional and global departments to achieve design for manufacture, safe implementation, and product quality.
• Support assembly manufacturing engineering activities, including engineering change notices, pilots, layout changes, line balancing, and health and safety and quality actions.
• Lead project tasks, coordinate teams, delegate actions, manage budgets, and deliver milestones on schedule.

Requirements

• Degree, HND, or equivalent qualification in a relevant engineering discipline.
• 3–5 years of engineering experience in an assembly or manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of manufacturing engineering processes, change control, pilots, feedback, and work instruction generation.
• Experience leading projects, managing project reports, budgets, schedules, layouts, and line balancing.
• Experience with MES/MRP systems, CAD packages such as Siemens NX or AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience working cross-functionally with global departments.
