Production Manager (Chemical Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Lead Production, Warehouse, and Dispatch teams to deliver production plans, customer requirements, and operational KPIs safely.
• Maintain a safety-first culture and ensure compliance with EHS, quality, environmental, and process safety standards.
• Optimize equipment, materials, and resources to improve productivity, reliability, quality, and cost performance.
• Coach and develop teams while strengthening engagement, accountability, workforce capability, and succession planning.
• Use operational data, KPIs, and structured problem-solving to deliver continuous improvements.
• Collaborate with Planning, Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, and Supply Chain, and act as deputy to the Plant Manager when required.

Requirements

• Leadership and management experience in manufacturing, chemical, or process manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations, industrial equipment, production performance, and operational excellence.
• Experience leading, coaching, and developing teams, including workforce planning and performance management.
• Analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience managing KPIs, budgets, operational resources, ERP or manufacturing systems, and business change.
• Commitment to health, safety, quality, environmental, and process safety standards, including risk assessment and Management of Change principles.

Nice to have

• Management, leadership, engineering, or project management qualification.
• COMAH knowledge.
