Group Leader - Flight Simulator Technical Operations (FSTD)

What you will do

• Lead the technical operations and engineering team responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance of flight simulation training devices.
• Ensure simulator availability, certification compliance, service quality, SLA performance, and operational KPI achievement.
• Act as the primary technical and operational contact for the customer and coordinate with suppliers, project managers, regulators, and internal stakeholders.
• Plan staffing coverage, recruit and develop personnel, conduct performance reviews, and foster ownership, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate installations, updates, device qualification, and project execution across multiple training devices and aircraft platforms.
• Prepare and oversee initial and recurrent regulatory evaluations and submit required reports to the relevant authorities.

Requirements

• Engineering degree or technical diploma in electronics, electrical, mechanical, or aviation-related studies.
• At least 8 years of FSTD technical experience, including at least 5 years working with hirify.global equipment.
• At least 4 years of managerial or supervisory experience in an FSTD technical support environment.
• Strong knowledge of FSTD hardware and software, including motion, visual, avionics, hydraulics, flight dynamics, and aircraft systems.
• Advanced knowledge of aircraft types, aviation training, FSTD terminology, and local and international regulations including EASA and FAA requirements.
• Excellent written and spoken English is required, including the ability to lead meetings, deliver presentations, and communicate with varied audiences.
